I was in Yahoo a little bit ago and all of a sudden I get a big red screen telling me I have an Internet Security issue. I cannot close the window and cannot close Firefox.
I ran a MalWare scan and a Trend Micro scan and found nothing. I have a screen print but do not see any way to attach.
Am I toast?

Hi @boondoo and welcome to the community!

Thank you for letting us know of this concern.

Basing on your description, you have a Technical Support Scam message on your PC. This is a fake message that scares and lures the users to contact a number to fix the issue. This happens when you have visited a malicious website or clicked a malicious link from your email account.

Technically, receiving that fake warning message does not make your computer infected. The infection happens when the user contacted the hotline on the message and allow the technician to gain remote access on the PC.

To know more about how you can prevent and resolve this fake warning message on your PC, you may please visit this link:

You may also enable your Trend Micro toolbar on your browser. Here's the link for the instructions:

Using the Trend Micro Toolbar feature of Trend Micro Security

Another thing is to remove any unwanted programs that are installed on your PC that may caused this issue:

Uninstalling Potentially Unwanted Applications (PUA)

We hope this helps.

Thank you and have a great day!
