screen freezes

I have a new HP laptop. Websites frequently freeze & won't allow downloads. Can this be caused by Trend Micro?

Thanks for asking here. For your issue, we think it may be caused by browser settings during adding and deletion of browser toolbars or other add-ons. Could you please reset your browser to check the problem still persists? Here's an online help doc to help you:
