Scheduled scan did not run.

I have a scheduled scan set daily at 4:00pm. Yesterday it did not run. The PC was on and not in screensaver mode. My concern is that I cannot find any reason for not running. Also when I instigate a scan I find it difficult to find the date and time of the last scan or any scan history. Any explanations?

There can be two major scenarios that may have happened with your scan, it's either it has been (A.)skipped or it was (B.)scanned but was not logged on your scan history.

A. Scheduled Scan was Skipped
What caused your scheduled scan to be skipped may be one of the following reasons:
1. Trend Micro Application was in Mute Mode.
2. Another Scan was running.

B. Scanned but was not logged
Trend Micro may have scanned your computer but didn't detect any threats on your computer. This also answers your question to probably why you weren't able to backtrack your previous scans. Only scans that detected threats on your computer are logged and can be backtracked.
