On an Win 10 notebook while running a Malwarebytes scan manually with TIS active, at the end of the scan TIS interrupted and said it had blocked Malwarebytes from making a change to the system that may be harmful. Doing the same run on my Win 7 desktop it did not stop the scan from finishing.
I understand that possibility, but the popup message as Malwarebytes was finishing a manual scan was that TM had blocked an attempt to make a change that may harm the computer. That "attempt" obviously was Malwarebytes wanting to remove something that it considered harmful. Since TM doesn't show what that "attempt" was, and I trust Malwarebytes to not make any harmful changes, apparently I must have to disable TM while making a manual scan with Malwarebytes. Is that always the case?
Hi Rossfm, Never install 2 AV programs on de same PC they slowdown and dont work togeter. So if you want to run a second program for special checkup like Malwarebytes, You must exit TM ( is also mensiont in the window if you are install MB) Then do a scan with MB and uninstall it again! TM is doing the same as MB only some other way. So after reboot TM is there again to keep your PC clean. Kind Regards, Tom
