I have a friend who sends important emails to me but Trend has started blocking them. I run Office Professional Plus 2016 and have only just renewed Trend Micro Maximum Security a week or two ago.
The emails are a group email and noone else's software is suggesting emails are malicious.
How do I read these emails?

Good day brookeandsteve ! Welcome to the community!

We do apologize if there are any inconveniences caused bythis issue. Allow me to help you with this.

The Trend Micro Anti-Spam toolbar classifies the message asrisky or as a threat given these 3 grounds.

1.      Email contains a suspicious file.

2.      Email contains a suspicious link or a URL thatmay lead the user to a malicious website.

3.      Email is sent by a suspicious sender.

It is best that you clarify the contents of the email thatwas sent to you first by your friend before proceeding with opening it. You may also ask the sender if some other people are experiencing this issue when receiving a message from him. We can help him to determine if his email service is being compromised.

Also, once the Trend Micro AntiSpam toolbar is set on yourOutlook email service, it should just create a specific folder where in themessages that are being filtered out are directed and saved there. You canstill open these messages but at your own risk. Another action of the Trend Micro Program if there is a Malicious content in the email is that it will convert the said message to a more simple file for you to read only the message without any attachments included.

Furthermore, we would like to request a screenshot of themessage that is stating that the message that you are receiving isblocked so we can check the action from our end.

We are looking forward for your response!
