restarting computer after new updates

Recently I've been asked to restart my computer after every new update. This was not the way Trend Micro worked before. One of the reasons I kept purchasing Trend Micro for over 10 years was because everything was done behind the scenes, I was rarely interrupted by Trend Micro. This was one of the reasons I suggested Trend Micro to my friends, family and customers every day! Now almost every day I get new updates I'm asked up restart my computer even after I just started it! I am also inundated with too, too many reminders that my Trend Micro is almost out of date! I know when I have to up date, upgrade my Trend Micro and I purchase it every year! Your records should see this and never worry about my ordering the newest yearly license!  However every three or four hours I get a notice that my Trend Micro is about to expire NEXT DECEMBER 16th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know this and don't need to be reminded as I have been since OCTOBER! Now I know no one will really read this or care, you may send an auto response but not really give a crap what your users are saying! But I've enjoyed using Trend Micro since 2004 when it was PC-Ciline! Please stop the reminders interrupting my work like it use to be! Thank you!

About getting a continuous restart after installing the updates, we already have a hotfix for that published on our support site. To resolve that issue please click the link below and follow the instructions provided on the website.

If the hotfix did not work,you may try to manually upgrade your Trend Micro program by following the steps on the link below.

About your second concern, if you are receiving the notification on your email account, we can try to disable that but if you are receiving the notification right on your computer screen we cannot disable that for you because it was hard coded. You can actually use the “Mute Mode”to disable non-critical notification on your computer which renewal prompts are not critical.
