Restart Required error

My computer automatically disables Trend Micro and recommends rebooting to fix the problem, I've rebooted 3 times and the problem continues. Why is this happening?

Thank you very much for being a long-time Trend Micro product user! The malfunction you're encountering could be due to a number of different factors, and likely suspect is that the Maximum Security was damaged during our background auto-update.

Please follow the steps in support page below to reinstall your Maximum Securtiy and resolve this error:
Reinstalling the latest version of Trend Micro Security program
