Hello kristiana ! Welcome to the community!

We would like to clarify more about the term that you have used. May we know what do you mean by "ratted" or the "rat detection" that you are requesting?

If you are trying to make thorough scan aside from the existing Trend Micro Security that you already have, you may use the Anti-Threat Tool Kit - a free tool that is available for download on our Support Site. The link is provided below:

Using the Trend Micro Anti-Threat Toolkit to analyze malware issues and clean infections - For Home and Home Office users

You may proceed with the Clean infected computers and proceed up to step number 10 only.

I hope this helps.

Hi kristiana

Welcome to TM Home users Community, a public site where volunteers try to help each-other , also there are TM Employees that can give answers, I am just a volunteer.
May i suggest to use first "System Restore" on your computer it does the job most of the time.
Good luck.

Kind regards,

-I'm not a Trend Micro representative, but I like to give you suggestion-

Is important to downoad games from certified vendors, (Steam, Origin, GOG, etc).
Download games from not official vendor may be a security problem.
In this case, it is not a AV vendor issue.
