Thanks for contacting here! For this issue, we suggest re-installing Password Manager to reset the program and patterns. Since we suspect the issue you're encountering is related to Password Manager, which is bundled in Maximum Security installation, hopefully, a reinstall will reset everything and remove the error. Please refer to following pages to reinstall your Password Manager:
  1.  Uninstalling Trend Micro Password Manager on Windows
  2.  Downloading and installing Password Manager on Windows and Mac
Please try and let us know if this resolves your issue. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply. The reason why you are getting the message that Password Manager is already installed is because there are still remnants of the old Password Manager files. To resolve the issue, we have to manually delete the old files of the program. To do this, kindly follow the steps below:On your keyboard, press the Windows Key + R.
  1. Type "regedit" on the window that will open.
  2. The Registry Editor will open. Click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Software Trend Micro TMIDS.
  3. Right click on the "TMIDS" folder and click on "Delete".
Here is the next step:
  1. On the Registry Editor, click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software TMDP.
  2. Right click on "TMDP" folder and click on "Delete".
  3. Close the Registry Editor.
The last step is to delete the folder of Password Manager in the Local Disc (C:).
  1. On your keyboard, press the Windows Key + E. This will open the Windows Explorer.
  2. Go to this location:
Local Disc (C:) Program Files Trend Micro
Local Disc (C:) Program Data Trend Micro
  3. Delete the following folder.
    C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\TMIDS
    C:\ProgramData\TMDP_Log
    C:\ProgramData\TMDP_Setup
    C:\ProgramData\TMDP_Tower_Setup
After deleting all the folders for Password Manager, kindly reinstall the program again. You may refer to the link below for instructions.
