I keep getting ps4ux popups. Any "solution" I find requires the download of 4 or 5 different programs. Please help!

hi avatfa,

Have you tried resetting your browser settings? That's one way to remove unknown settings made by a Potentially Unwanted application to your browsers which have been redirecting you or opening these pop-ups.
Afterwards, clear your temp folder. To do that: Press Windows+R on your keyboard, type %temp%, then delete all files

If problem persists, please post the log collected by HiJackThis tool (Download here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hjt/) so I can take a look.

Or you can contact Technical Support for speedy assistance:

Hi avatfa,

This information is your machine's hardware information only.
Could you run HiJackThis again and paste the result together with the complete system information log?

I'd like to have a look at the software installed if there are any PUA/Adware on your machine but to set your expectations, not all PUA/Adware would list themselves in Installed Programs List.

If there is nothing I can find from those logs, then I'd suggest that you work with Technical Support so they can run the other tools needed to diagnose and resolve your problem.

Hi erza. I just went to download the link above for "sourceforge..." and when I hit "download" Trend Micro gave me a warning that this is a "dangerous page and has been known for malware etc."

Are you certain this is a safe download when my TM 2017 is saying it is not?

Hi woodartisan55,

The link is correct, you will see Hijack from this page, the last one the list and points to the same download link: http://free.antivirus.com/us/#cleanup...

Can you send the screenshot of the detection?

Hi again erza. I went to the link again, directly from this page instead of copying the link and using "Safe Surf", and it downloaded.
