Protection turned OFF

Why was the protection turned OFF and I had to manually turn on the protection? Why were we not alerted that the protection had been turned off?

Apologies for the inconvenience. This is not the normal behaviour of the Trend Micro program. This issue is caused by conflicting software on your computer. You can follow the steps in our support article to address this issue. Trend Micro Security software turns on and off automatically

If the above solutions did not work for you, please reply here with the error message, basic PC info. Some screenshots would also be helpful!
