Protection Disabled

Hello. I have been getting the message "Protection Disabled - Please restart the computer to fix the problem" I have restarted a number of times but the same message appears.

This suggests that another protection program is in place. Not in my case. Problem still not resolved.

Thanks for asking here! Per your description, could you please double check the list in the following online doc to make sure conflict software are all removed? I understand you've done this check already, and that our competitor products have been removed, but sometimes software in the "Others" list might still be present on your PC. It's a long list, so it'll take some time to cross check.
Programs to remove before installing Trend Micro Security

- Kaspersky (Security Scan, etc.)
- McAfee (AntiSpyware, McAfee Security Scan Plus, SiteAdvisor, etc.)
- Symantec / Norton (Antispam, Online Backup, Online Backup, etc.)
- AVG
- Others (360 Antivirus, Rapport, Yahoo! Assist, etc.)

If you are all good with the conflicting software, have you tried the left solution of the following support page? If not, you can refer to the detailed steps:
“Protection Disabled ... Restart Required” still appears when opening the main console of your Trend Micro Security - see "OPTION 2: Upgrade Trend Micro Security To The Latest Version" & "OPTION 3: Check For Malware Infection"

still not change check all had it for four months then all sudden this happens being doing this for 3 hours
