All my games and music/media player are not working. Last night your help team were able to guide me through correcting a similar situation for my MS Office programmes. Please advise what I should do now.

Hi anand4,

Can you try disabling the Trend Micro program to check if it is the one causing your games and media player to not work?

You can refer to the link below for the steps on how to disable the program:

Disabling or enabling your Trend Micro Security software

Feel free to reply to this thread, so we can assist you further.

Thank you and have a great day!

I had the same issue, when I disable the Trend Micro the programs/apps work.

What can I do to resolve it properly?

My experience on this has been that if you have any other anti-virus programme installed - it will not allow you work on any other programme (MS Office, games, Media player).  If you uninstal the previous anti-virus on your computer (even if it was a free one like AVG) and then re-instal the Trend Micro, all programmes start working normally.  Hope this helps you all! Cheers.
