Hi @vettester782011,

Did you try the solution that I provided below on Feb 3rd? If not, please check if there are any conflicting software on your PC and reinstall the program to the latest version to see if the same symptom occurs.

Please let us know how it goes. Thank you.

Hi Tom, thank you for answering!

Hi @vettester782011, thanks for trying our new Community!

For your issue, could you check the list in the following online doc to make sure if there are any conflicting software on your PC? It's a long list, so it'll take some time to cross check.
Programs to remove before installing Trend Micro Security

- McAfee (AntiSpyware, McAfee Security Scan Plus, McAfee AntiTheft etc.)
- Symantec Corporation/ Norton (Norton Identify Safe, Norton 360, Symantec AntiVirus, etc.)
- Others (360 Antivirus, Rapport, AdSubtract Pro, etc.)

Also, we would like to suggest reinstalling the program to the latest version on fixing this issue.

Step1. Using Trend Micro Remnant File Remover Tool to remove remnants

Step2. Installing the latest version of Internet Security
Installing Internet Security 2017
