password manager not working

Password manager says it is unable to help with passwords. It also asks me to log in but will not show a log in screen.

Sorry for the inconvenience. For the error message you're seeing, we have a solution in our support portal.  Please give this a try:
"Unable to Help with Your Passwords" error message appears when clicking on the Password Manager Toolbar on your computer

None of this worked. As a last effort I deleted password manager. The program now wants me to pay for Password Manager again.

It's quite strange that Password Manager requests for payment when you already uninstalled it -- is there any way to send us a screenshot here?

As a possible solution, since Password Manager is bundled and auto-installed with Maximum Security, we suggest you to reinstall your Maximum Security and re-set up Password Manager to see if this issue can be resolved.
