Outdated 7-zip in Trend Micro Program Files folder?

I run Secunia PSI to detect outdated programs on my PC that might have vulnerabilities. It is reporting C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\TMIDS\7z.exe, as version 9.20 of 7-zip and states the latest version, 16.x, patches several vulnerabilities. When I attempt to update, I get 7-zip installed as a new program in a new program files folder. Are the 7z.* files in the Trend Micro folder necessary (i.e. can I delete them)? If it is 7-Zip, shouldn't you be updating to a later version? If it's something else, please let me know and I'll report the error to Secunia. Thanks!

Sorry for the misunderstanding. To answer your question, we have deployed an update to Password Manager on July 20. Please reinstall Password Manager by following the instructions below:

  1. Uninstalling Trend Micro Password Manager on Windows
  2. Downloading and installing Password Manager on Windows and Mac - see "Install Password Manager On Windows" section

Please let us know if that fixes the issue.
