OneDrive for Business folder missing when try to add in Folder Shield

For one of our clients, we have managed to set up folder shield so that it protects the Documents, Pictures and SharePoint Team site folder, but when we also try to add the OneDrive for Business sync folder (where nearly all the company's important data is stored) it does not appear in the list of folders to select when adding more folders, even though the folder clearly does exist. Running latest build of Windows 10, Office 365 and version 12.0.1226 of Trend Micro Maximum Security.

We understand that you are having troubles with one of your important folders being unable to be protected by the folder shield feature. Allow me to share my ideas with this problem. We had an almost same problem with this where in one of our friend was unable to protect the whole C: drive with the folder shield feature. You may see this link for the thread:

This problem was solved by indexing the whole C: drive. This process is more related with the operating system's settings. You may try to index the location of the subjected folder first and see how it goes.

Take note: Since the indexing process is more related to the Windows Operating System, please contact Microsoft Help if in case that you will need further assistance. Anyway, I will just share my idea on how to do it.

On your windows search, kindly make a search for Indexing Options.  It should look like this:
 Then from the selection below, click on Modify, then you may select or locate the folder where your OneDrive Business folder is located. 

Once done, try adding the Folder Shield protection through the Trend Micro Console.
