Just tried to load Trend onto my (Home) Ipad as my 5th device...but an error message came up telling me 'Trend could not be loaded onto this device'..I got the impression it may have been because my Ipad is really old...is this a possibility? Thankyou

Hi fbinc,

Yes, that could be a possibility. To check, here's the list of the minimum system requirements of the app:

System requirements for Mobile Security for iOS

All the best,

Genuinely appreciate your response...TM_X
Unfortunately I am not very "Tech" savvy - and I'm still not 100% sure whether my iPad is compatible with Trend's security (apart from the fact I was unable to download onto the device).
In terms of your link and "List of compatible Devices" - I still don't know what type of iPad I have - (it was either the first or second generation iPad ever released - definitely old)...Its not a "Mini" and I am confident its not a "iPad Pro" but whether it is an "iPad Air" or "iPad Air 2" I got no idea.
I opened up the iPad's "General" Tab and then "About" Tab and the Model of the iPad was listed as MC916X/A. It also listed the iOS "Version" as being 9.3.5 (13G36). It actually says somewhere it has an iOS 9.3.5. So I am assuming it meets the "OS Version 9.0+" requirement???

But I got know idea about whether it has a 64 bit operating system???

Not sure if this is relevant to identify what type of iPad I have (and its compatibility with Trend Security) but my iPad has a "Capacity" of 57.1 GB with 27.3 GB being available.
Thanking you for any advice you can provide.

Thanks Mickey
Yes it was very useful...surprisingly I was very close to the mark in terms of the iPad's age (generation) - 2010.

Please accept my apologies at not going to the Apple website in the first place to clarify my iPad type; sometimes the old brain just doesn't seem to work.

Thanking you for your trouble though.
Kind regards
Don (fbinc)
PS - a little disappointrd I am unable to put Trend onto the old device...its a good old device - fully functional for my purposes...just not protected. I really don't see the $ sense of having to buy another iPad :(
