No bootable Device

I have had Trend Micro for a year and I am unable to turn on my laptop, how do I find out if it is a virus I have and that's why my laptop is telling me "no bootable device - please restart system

Welcome to TM Home users Community, a public site where volunteers try to help each-other , also there are TM Employees that can give answers.
I think your hd is not boot-able anymore most of the time there is a F key to restore the whole system.
Else you must put the DVD with your OS in the drive and try to do a system restore.
Tell me more what happened ?
What OS What TM version?
