We understand that you are having troubles with the Trend Micro Security Trial Version. Allow me to share ideas with this.
The Trend Micro Security, upon installation will check your computer for registry entries of the previously installed computers and as well as the existing applications on it. With this regard, since you have already used a Trend Micro program on that same computer, the full features that are included with the Trial Version will no longer be available and will notify you that the protection is expired. This is to avoid the abuse of usage of the Trial version (and as well as the period).
