My max security password is not working. I have 2 passwords, can this be changed to 1?

don't have a problem with PW mgr. Problem 2passwords for trend micro max sec. (1 is not in pwm).

If the problem is as you've stated, wouldn't resetting your password(s) for Maximum Security to only one be a solution for you?

I think that you can contact trend Micro via your device if you have forgotten your password. I believe that is on the scan page. When you pull up the page to start a scan, there is a "help" icon there. You should be able to retrieve it from there by contacting them for help

Hi @rjohn84401, I understand your frustration. 

Trend Micro Maximum Security uses 2 sets of email ID & password to manage accounts and settings:
1) Trend Micro Account (MyAccount) email ID and password -- this is what you used to register the product and is used to manage Trend Micro licenses. You're using your email ID and a password for this now.
2) Main Console email ID and password -- this is only required when the "Enable password protection to prevent unauthorized changes" setting is enabled. 

If you're referring to the 1) Trend Micro Account password, here's where you can reset it:
Managing your Trend Micro Account (MyAccount) - refer to "Resetting a forgotten Trend Micro Account password"

If you're referring to 2) Main Console email ID and password, you have two options to fix the current issue:
Option 1 - go to your inbox to locate the email sent by us. You should find the password and can use it when configuring regular scan.
Option 2 - if for some reason you cannot get into your Hotmail inbox, then you can un-install and re-install Trend Micro Maximum Security and reset the "Enable password protection to prevent unauthorized changes" settings. Here's a reference doc for the steps:
