"totally wiped clean"

Maybe if you would explain in more than few words what happened, would be nice!

Yes ,wiped clean, erased. I thought and it may  be so, that malware was involved. But it happened seconds after I turned on the computer and an update occurred. A search showed many people have experienced the same thing at some time. Dell Latitude on win 10.

Hi 1wilpd

This seems a little vague to me. Can you give us more details of what happened (i.e. computer activities before your computer was wiped clean, etc.)? Also, is there any instance that made you say it's because of malware?

Awaiting your response.

Hello TM_X,

I have noticed a tendency on this forum to be abnormally  nice, even when it is not

necessary:

"This seems a little vague to me"

So , it only "seems" to be , it is not really vague  and is only "a little" not 100%

This artificial niceness doesn't help anyone...
