My incredimail program will not work with Trend Micro Maximum security. I have enabled Google Chrome add on.

Incredimail was working prior to reinstalling Maximum Security.Now it just does not seem to want to open. Please answer in human speak as I am 70 yo & not tech savvy.

We need to isolate first the issue to determine if TrendMicro is causing the isse.

To help you resolve this issue, kindly stop the components ofthe Trend Micro program. Please follow the steps below.

DisablingTrend Micro Security:

1. Right-click the Trend Micro icon from the System Tray.
2. Select Exit.
3. Wait for Trend Micro's System Tray icon todisappear.
4. Try accessing your Incredimail program.

Ifyou are able to use Incredimail after disabling Trend Micro Security, you haveto add it in the Exception List. Just click the link below.

Configuring the Exception List ofTrend Micro Security softwareAfteradding it to the exception list, enable your Trend Micro Security now.

EnablingTrend Micro Security:

1. Open the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit. To open:Click Start > All Programs > Trend Micro > More Tools and Help.
2. In the Diagnostic Toolkit window, clickthe Uninstall tab, then click Start All Components.

I have tried exit & still have a problem.Error message   Exception: ACCESS_VIOLATION (C0000005) - on reading from 0000004CFaulting Offset: 0007A146
Module: asapsdk.dll    Prior to installing Trend everything was ok.

As a follow up question, I have noticed that the previous reply also asked you to try to adding the application on the Exception List. May I know if you were able to follow the details on how to do so? If yes, may we know what seems to be the result in doing so?
