I have received a warning concerning MS Word

Trend Micro  is closely monitoring latest threats and has detection patterns for detecting such kind of attack.

As with other simlar threats, Trend Micro recommends that customer implement the following best practices as a bare minimum:

  • Always check who the email sender is

  • Double-check the content of the message

  • Refrain from clicking links in email

  • Always ensure your software is up-to-date

  • Backup important data

The Trend Micro program is configured by default. If for any reason they're not enabled, you may check this link.

Hi Brian!

If you cannot access the Trend Micro Knowledge base website, you can try to clear the cache of your Internet browser.

If it still doesn't work, kindly follow the instructions below to flush the DNS.
  1. On your keyboard, press the Windows + R keys.
  2. In the Open field, type "cmd", then press ENTER. The Command Prompt window will open.
  3. On the Command Prompt window, type “ipconfig /flushdns” then press ENTER.
  4. Close the Command Prompt window when you receive the message that the DNS is flushed.
  5. Open your web browser and verify if you can access websites.
