How can I remove MPC Cleaner?Trend Micro does not appear to recognize it as malicious.

Thanks for letting us know this issue. Per your question, MPC Cleaner is commonly called potentially unwanted application (PUA), and are typically bundled with other freeware, and installed as an option most people do not uncheck during installation. It isn't really malicious, so Maximum Security dosen't remove it directly. Please try the following online solution doc to check if you can remove MPC Cleaner on your computer first:
