Mobile Security for a Samsung Note 8 phone, Flags Sprint Launcher as Virus

I have recently upgraded my Samsung Note 8 to Android Oreo (8.0.0).  Now every time Mobile Security performs a scan it flags “My Sprint Launcher” as something to fix and lists a button to uninstall it along with the words “Uninstallation Critical.” When I hit the uninstall button and confirm, I get the following message, “Uninstalling My Sprint Launcher Unsuccessful.”  Is there really an issue with “My Sprint Launcher,” and if so, why can’t Mobile security delete it?

Welcome to the Home Users Community, holaday83402!

It says here that the Sprint Launcher is possibly the home screens & the app drawer and it is usually the phone manufacturer's launcher.

Can we check the the Protection Strength of your Trend Micro Mobile Security app? It's possible that it's acting way too much. You can click on Security Scan > tab Not Now if asked to do a Security Scan then make sure Protection Strength is only set to Normal.

Please also make sure that the version of your app is 9.3.0.1467 so it's on the latest version. Go to the app's Settings and choose "About".

Best Regards :)

I checked and my Protection Strength is set to Normal.  However the version of Mobile Security was 9.3.0.1426. I went into the Google Play Store and looked for Trend Micro. Once up I had Mobile Security showing, I hit the update button and it updated Micro Security to 9.3.0.1435. This solved the problem. Thanks for your time.
