Mobile Hot Spot problem

After installing Mobile Security for Android on my Galaxy S5 Active phone my mobile hotspot now will not work.  When I turn it on it  turns itself off automatically.  Apparently mobile security is somehow interfering with it.

Hi @beeshilo53, sorry for not getting back earlier.

Regarding your situation, let's isolate to make sure the problem is not due to Trend Micro Mobile Security.

Please follow the instructions below:

Step1: Uninstall your Mobile Security for Android app:
  1. Tap Mobile Security on your mobile device.
  2. Tap Menu > Settings > Uninstall.
  3. Type your password to continue uninstalling Mobile Security.
  4. Tap OK to finish.
Step2: Reboot your Galaxy S5 and check the Hotspot problem still persists or not
If the problem still persists, we suggest you contact the mobile manufacturer or ISP for assistance.

If the problem solved after uninstalling the app, follow Step3 & Step4.

Step3: Check if you have installed conflicted applications
The problem you mentioned may cause by application conflict. Please check if you have installed conflicting applications in below page:

Step4: Reinstall Mobile Security for Android
Downloading, installing and activating the full version of Mobile Security for Android
