Microsoft send me a message that my Tend is not compatible with Windows 10. So I realize that I'm not protected

As you mentioned, you're entitled to use Trend Micro Maximum Security, which is fully compatible with Windows 10. To install your Maximum Security, could you give the following steps a try:
Installing Maximum Security 2017

As @woodartisan55 mentioned, Trend Micro Security 2017 is fully compatible with Windows 10. Please refer to the support document below to check if your computer is protected by Trend Micro Security:

Also, to help you on your concern, I would like to ask further information. Could you send us the message you received from Microsoft "Trend is not compatible with Windows 10" for us?
