Microsoft Outlook not working

I have Microsoft Outlook 2007 installed on my PC. Since last Wednesday it will not send or receive emails. My telco tells me that it is because Trend Micro is not letting it do so. Is this true and how do I fix the issue.

Hi Katie.
Go to the tray, Rightclick on TM and choose Exit, try to send the mail. If not it is not related with TM, else let us know.
Kind Regards ,
Tom

This has made no difference. It would appear that it is a software issue. Not TM.

Hi darren.katie,

Have you tried running Office Configuration Analyzer Tool?
Here is the KB from Microsoft for your reference: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2970771

Hope that helps!

That is odd. I get the message that it is not up to date. When I download all necessary downloads I get the message that the expected version is not found on this system. Yet it was working 100% up until a week ago.

Hi darren.katie,

You don't recall performing System Restore?
Anyhow, if the advise of their OffCAT is to update your Outlook, that must be the best course of action. If it still doesn't fix the problem, how about try their Virtual Assistant by describing your problem more in details? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/

I find it pretty helpful when my OneNote or Word crashed.
