maximum security will not start

My Trend Micro Maximum Security does not start.

I have followed/performed steps from sites below yesterday and Trend Micro Maximum Security worked. However, when I booted my computer today, Trend Micro Max Security does not start again. I have also used Trend Micro Diagnostic tool to stop and restart components but it still failed to restart.

- Checked there are no conflicting programs based on steps on site, https://esupport.trendmicro.com/en-us...,

- i have reinstalled Trend Micro Max Security based on instructions from site, https://esupport.trendmicro.com/en-us...

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and thanks for asking here.

We apologize for whatever inconvenience this issue has caused you.

To help you fix this issue, kindly try to follow the steps below: 

Step 1: Press  Windows Windows Key key + R to open the Run window.
Step 2: Type %programdata%.
Step 3: Open the Trend Micro folder.
Step 4: Select the AMSP folder.
Step 5: Press Shift key + Right click at the same time.
Step 6: Select Copy as Path.
Step 7: On the left side of your screen, press right click on This PC and select Properties.
Step 8: Click on Advanced system settings.
Step 9: On the System Properties window, go to Advanced tab and click on Environmental Variables.
Step 10: Under System Variables, select Path, then click Edit.
Step 11: Put a semicolon at the end of the line. Paste the path of the Trend Micro AMSP folder, then click OK.
Step 12: Close everything and then restart your computer. 
Step 13: Check if the Trend Micro program will start after the restart.
