Master Password Problem

I am using TrendMicro on three computers. I successfully installed a Master Password on one computer. When I use the Master password I selected on the other two computers get a message that the password is incorrect and get a hint.

We understand that you are having troubles with the password or the Master Password to be specific. Let me help you with this.

First, we just want to clarify that the Master Password is only specific for the Password Manager program only. It is totally different if you wish to login to your Trend Micro Account through the Trend Micro Account Portal and the password that you will be using or assigning for the Parental Control (the Trend Micro Security program itself). With this said, the Master Password is also dependent on the account that it is registered to.

Now, we would like to clarify on what part are you having troubles with? Are you trying to login to the account portal or are you trying to use or access one of your login credentials through the Password Manager extension through the browser?

Also, please take note that if you have decided to reset the Master Password, all of the saved Passwords on the account will be deleted so I would advise that as the last step to try.

Trying to log into Password Extension. Have a password for one computer and can log on with the master password. But can not log on to two other computers on the same account. Get message of password error and a hint

1. Sign out on the Password Manager extension.

2. Sign in using your Trend Micro account.

3. Type in your Master Password and see if it will work.
