Keep getting report, from Trend Micro Total Security 10 users, every day that OSX_Pirrit was detected and quarantine !

MacBook Pro 2017 with the latest MacOS and updates.
Using Latest Version of Trend Micro Antivirus.
It seems something is generating the OSX_Pirrit virus with different names on daily bases on my system and Trend Micro antivirus detects and quarantines the virus but can not detect the root cause of the problem.

Sorry to hear of your experience.

Since this is a continuous malware detection, we will advise you to manually delete the detected file on your computer. To do that you just need to go to Logs then check the Where found column so you can see the location of the detected file.

I removed all the files. Thanks.

Unfortunately the virus keeps coming back.  Deleting files manually did not fix the problem.
