Hello edwlmiller ! Welcome to the community!

We understand that you are having troubles installing the Trend Micro program as it is requiring you to remove another AV program on your computer. Allow me to help you with this.

You may try manually removing the Kaspersky program from your computer manually. To do this, you may open your Programs and Features portion on your computer, to do that, just press and hold the Windows Key on your keyboard then Hit the R button once. On the Text field that will appear type in appwiz.cpl. Then hit OK or Open.

On the window that will appear, look for the Kaspersky program and do a double left click on to have it uninstalled. Respective windows should appear and it shall do the uninstallation for you.

There are cases that a specific program cannot be removed through that window as it has protection from other programs or users from making changes. With this, contacting the Program's manufacturer will help you in removing it as they may need to run a special tool that will lift this restrictions.

Once removed, just proceed by opening the Trend Micro Security Installer again and it should install and proceed as expected.

I hope this helps.
