Is the pop-up from Trend Micro or spyware?

I have Trend Micro Antivirus + with a lifetime subscription. It would update automatically, without any pop-up to notify me. Recently. it started notifying me that an update was installed and that I needed to reboot. I have problems rebooting, so just shut the system down and restarted. The pop-up continued to show each time I started. Today, I have a pop-up "Please approve changes." I have in the past had issues with spyware disguised as antivirus, so I'm hesitant to click on this message. Are my fears unfounded?

For your issue, we would like to suggest reinstalling the latest version of Antivirus + Security (Ver. 11) to check if the same symptom occurs.
