is my new laptop protected.

i bought a new laptop some time ago, our subscription was renewed till August of 2018, how can i tell if this laptop has the protection. I can't seem to see the icon any more

Welcome to TM Home users Community, a public site where volunteers try to help each-other , also there are TM Employees that can give answers.
Is the program in the programs list, then start it from there.
If not, go to your TM account and download the latest version from there and install.

To make sure that you have the protection on your new laptop, look for the Trend Micro Icon on the desktop page or even on the System tray. If it is there, try doing a double click or try opening the Main Console and try to run the scan. If you are unable to do so, try installing the Security program first by following the Steps on this link.

Installing Internet Security

Make sure to have your Trend Micro serial number with you as you will need to upon registering the product.
