Internet Security is being shut off

I'm using Windows 8.1 on a Dell XPS 8700 pc.
This morning I had this error: KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
I was told my computer would restart. Since then I've been getting messages that both Trend Micro and Windows Defender have been shut off.

It just happened again.

Hi Pris IL humbrdr

Welcome to TM Home users Community, a public site where volunteers try to help each-other , also there are TM Employees that can give answers, that is only at working hours. I am just a volunteer!

I think it is MS:
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/kernel-security-check-failure-windows

Hope this helps

Kind regards,
Tom

All is OK. I called today.
I couldn't deal with those popups any longer because they were keeping me from doing the brain work I needed to do to get some other things non-computer related.
I actually hadn't thought about how old this computer is! Time for something new.
Thanks a bunch. Now if you can tell me where to get a working model brain..........
