Installing renewed Trend Micro

I went to intall the renewed version of Trend Micro and it said I had already installed it on 3 comp. which I hadnt. I had to remove one which I hope is not my main computer. I tried several times to install on our Mac but it was not compatable. this is only the 2nd device I have installed on and my renewal says it is for 3.

Each time I've had a problem with my software, Trend's fix is to re-install it. Apparently re-installing counts as a new installation.

Hello SEAMANALAN,

Apologies if it seemed like that to you. For the latest version of Trend Micro Security, it will automatically delete the seat of the same computer in your account if you are going to reinstall the program. As long as you will install this on the same machine, it should not count as another installation. Anyway, you can always delete all unnecessary devices under your subscription by signing in to your Trend Micro Account.

Your last statement is what led me to my conclusion. When I have one computer & am told: you can always delete all unnecessary devices under your subscription by signing in to your Trend Micro Account.   I ONLY HAVE ONE COMPUTER! HOW DO I ELIMINATE UNNECESARY DEVICES?

You may sign in to your Trend Micro Account so you can manage the registered devices under your subscription. Once signed in, you can simply remove the devices that is no longer in service to make room for your new device.
