HP, Windows10, TrendMicro+ version12.
TrendMicro CPU jumps to the top as the biggest CPU use each time I try doing things using my IncrediMail. It makes all operations stall, like it has to super analyse every aspect of what I do including just typing text in the program. It often enough just closes the window I am typing on which causes me to have to redo from the beginning if I have click save save save as I type each sentence(grr).
I have gone into the TMicro email settings and unchecked both of those.
Exclusions over time: I have added add the exe files, the whole IncrediMail folder trying to find a way to block your programs interference with simple tasks in IM(IncrediMail). I am so frustrated with this particular problem. Is there a fix you can give me to help me keep your program and love it?

Hi hootytuts

Welcome to TM Home users Community, a public site where volunteers try to help each-other , also there are TM Employees that can give answers, that is only at working hours. I am just a volunteer!
I quote some other customer that had success with it:

Can you go to "Setting"/ "Other Settings" then "Smart Protection Network" and unlink both items. Then go back to "Protection Settings"  and Click on restore default settings. Apply then Reboot and see it works out for you.
Kind regards,
Tom

Thank you for your quick reply Tom. I am coming up from rebooting and will see how it goes. There was no suggested changes to make that you gave other than 'restore default settings'. The Smart Protection Network options were not checked so I didn't have to uncheck them. I will see how it performs tonight and if it is bad I will come back to ask for more suggestions.  ;) Thanks again Tom. Hugs on you from Hooty.

That has not fixed the problems with this. It seems like it is over protective and fights any smooth operations on too many things. I wasted my money on this. Oh well.  On to search for a replacement program. I'm sure this TMicro is just the thing for a lot of users. Just not for me and what I do. Thanks anyway.

Hi hootytuts,

Sorry for having this problem. :(
I understand that you have added the IncrediMail program to Exceptions List already, is that correct?

Have you checked if you have another security program installed on your PC? It's possible that those two are conflicting with each other.

If possible, please find the time to contact our Technical Support too for live and real time help.

Regards,
