Inappropriate popups despite Trend Micro scan reporting "No threats detected"

I just got a nude pop up from dirty-tinder.com!  I'm a 42 year old mom, but I really, really don't want this to happen when my kids are at the computer!  I ran a scan and Trend micro reported no threats detected, but a Google search says that we must have some spyware or malware.  What do you recommend?  Settings on the browser are already supposed to be blocking all popups and filtering inappropriate content...

Hi judahdardik,

Sorry about this experience.

It is possible that you accidentally clicked on a link which redirects you that page with the popup.

Also, sometimes there are websites that will tell you that there are problems on your computer even though there isn't.

If you have already activated the Trend Micro toolbar, it must filter out dangerous website and warns you not to visit them.

Regards,
Joemar
