inappropriate apps

I have just downloaded and installed Home network security and immediately after installing it starting saying that the kids phones were connected to various social media websites (snap chat, face book, Pinterest and Instagram) which we confronted them over (as they are not allowed on these sites). Neither kids have accounts to these sites (which we confirmed by going to the apps and to the app/play store) and some apps aren't even installed on their phones (one phone is Apple the other is Samsung). Is this possible? I don't want to keep getting them in trouble if it is a fault or if it false alerts upon apps just updating that aren't in use. If it is a fault how I fix this?

Sorry for the inconvenience, Cheree.

You may try normal troubleshooting like enabling or disabling the Compatibility Mode for the Home Network Security device.

By the way, were you able to check if in case those apps are actually installed before or just uninstalled? Sorry, this we ask just to isolate the issue. But after checking if other devices are actually connected to social media websites, do you still receive the same results from the Home Network Security app?
