I'm getting the 1603,5001, 0x0000000 error with an intel core i5 processor and after hours of trying to follow the solution I still can get the Prem Security to install....

Few things to consider:

1) What is your Windows OS? Has it got the latest service pack and with all updates installed?
2) What was your previous antivirus prior to using Trend Micro? Did you use your previous antivirus removal tool after uninstallation via add/remove?

For your this error code issue, this can happen if there are remnants of the previously installed Trend Micro Security software. So we suggest uninstalling Trend Micro Security by the Diagnostic Toolkit:
Uninstalling Trend Micro Security and older programs using the Diagnostic Toolkit

If you have any problems by using the Diagnostic Toolkit, please refer to the above support page "Having problems removing Trend Micro?" section to remove any leftover Trend Micro files.

After trying the above steps, you can install the latest version of your Trend Micro Security:
For Premium Security/Maximum Security (Serial Numbers starting with "X")
Installing Premium Security 2017
Installing Maximum Security 2017
