The Trend Micro program, as long as it is always updated, will protect you from online threats. However, a 100% security can be achieved with your help. These are some of the safety tips when doing online transactions:
- Be mindful of all the links that you open. Not all will direct you to a good page. If in doubt, check the link's credibility here: https://global.sitesafety.trendmicro.com/
- Do not open attachments from an unknown sender. Always check who the sender is and check if the email is legit. You can check whether an email is a scam or not here: https://fraudbuster.trendmicro.com/
- Only transact on websites that run on https. This ensures that the website is secure.
- Do not provide your information details to just anyone. Always verify the purpose of the transaction and the identity of the company/person you're dealing with.

Hello ROB,
The Trend Micro program scans the installer of the programs and all the processes of the programs installed on the computer. It will not allow keyloggers to run on the computer. There are programs downloaded to your computer that will ask for admin rights on able to run, be cautious and careful in giving permissions to programs.
There is also a feature of Trend Micro that scans the downloaded files from the internet, this engine will block or delete malicious files.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Kree
