-I'm not a Trend Micro representative, but I like to give you some suggestion-

Hello,
Idle Buddy is very annoying!

Try the following:

From the start menu, run appwiz.cpl (Program&features screen appears). Check if Idle Buddy is listed, and if yes, deinstall it.
Remove related browsers extensions, if something about exist in your browsers settings, (Chrome, Firefox, Explorer, Edge).
Did you run a complete Trend Micro scan?
Please, you can use also HOUSECALL

Hi, MDDIETER3!

Does the Idle Buddy program still manifest any malicious activities? Please know that any antivirus program cannot interfere if the program itself was installed by the user.

We can try restarting your PC in safe mode and erase all files and folders that are related with "Idle Buddy" program. You may refer on the instructions here.

Delete files that are related to Idle Buddy like ibservice.exe, xmrig.exe, code86.exe. Check these locations too:

  • [UserProfile]\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
  • [UserProfile]\AppData
  • C:\ProgramData
Feel free to let us know if you need further assistance.
