I was at the airport, and I wanted to use their free Internet. I could not because Trend Micro blocked it. How do I fix that?

Regarding your situation, let's isolate to make sure the blocking is not due to Maximum Security. Please check if the problem persists after you temporarily disable Maximum Security. We have a support document that describes how to do this. (Note: Do make sure it's a safe public Wi-Fi.)
Disabling or enabling your Trend Micro Security software

Don't forget to enable your Maximum Security after the confirmation.

If you confirmed the blocking issue is due to Maximum Security, could you give the blow solution a try?
