I trust Trend, please help ?

Hi, we've got some serious virus on our pc's that apparently spread through mail but it wasn't picked up by Trend...please help. We were advised to load AVAST anti virus which apparently can pick it up and remove. I trust Trend, please help ?

Welcome to TM Home users Community, a public site where volunteers try to help each-other , also there are TM Employees that can give answers, that is only at working hours. I am just a volunteer!

Can you tell us more:
OS/TM version/ Name of the virus, screenshot if it is visible!
What is happening.
Name of the mail.
Did you a full scan with TM?

Hi dippenf.  To the above from Tom Emmelot I'd also ask if you have turned on your website and email protections in your Trend Micro "settings"?  And DO make sure that you do a full scan as Tom said. Hope this all helps.

1. What was the indication that there was a virus spreading through email?
2. Did you open an attachment from an unknown/strange sender?
3. Have you tried running a full scan?
