Funny that.  I've had Trend for ages and have never had a problem using Tor.  The problem you are having surprises me. Do you have another security running at the same time?

Hi woodartisan55,

Just tested it, install no problem, after startup it deleted several files and even need a restart to get finalized.

Kind regards,

Hello cjones and welcome to the community!

Thanking our comrades here woodartisan55 and Tom Emmelot for helping us out on this case. Best regards to the both of you!

Regarding your case, just make sure that the source of the file you are downloading is legit, or safe. The only reason why the Trend Micro program will delete a file or hinder it from installing is it is being detected as harmful/malicious/suspicious.

Another way you can try at your own risk is adding the TOR installer file to the Trend Micro program's exception list, but again, you can try this at your own risk.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and have a great day! :)
