Hi tracy

To keep it that way:
Dont open mails you dont trust.
Remind, Microsoft or Trend Micro never ask you to call!
Keep a system restore point on your Laptop
If download and install free-software look out for side install!! (TM thinks you give permission)
If you must put in Login Name and Password for Banking, check that you are on the correct site and that it is on a https site, with a green lock on it.
Keep a backup of your important files.
Do a full scan 1 time in the week.
So i think i forget something, but other users may fill it in.
Good luck and happy computing!

Kind regards,
Tom

Hi Tom

That's pretty much it! I can't think of another thing to add in the list except for one thing -- be mindful of the links you open as they may direct you to infected sites. Trend Micro will surely protect you from threats but working hand-in-hand to protect your devices will double the protection you will get. I'm sure you will agree. ;)

Hi tracy

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to protecting your devices for years to come. Hope to see more of you here in our Community page. ;)

I usually disable restore points to save space and resources.
If main HDD fails, Restore Points gone away with it...

I prefer a complete system backup (very useful also in case of HDD migration) on an external disk.

There are free software to do so, my favourite is Aomei Backupper.

Never heard of that. I'll give it a try some time. @Max Slo. ;)
