maybe have the virus protection run in the background, to allow you to invest 100% of your attention to the task at hand (this happens to me everytime I play a game on steam, after not allowing the virus protection to start up)
Just to clarify, have you been temporarily disabling the Trend Micro program in order to proceed with your game? Have you tried adding the program to Trend Micro's exception list? You may click the link below to see how:
