I had cleared cookies and cache then restart the computer. Sometimes it's attached to them and intel its cleared it will stay there. I am unsure of what system you are using or I could help you get to this section where you can do this. then again you may already know how to do this. It is just my suggestion. I hope this works or that you already have it cleared. :)

Hi jessmazzarino,

Do you have a restore point this will do the trick in several occasions.
Go to system restore and pick up a point before you installed the latest program.
Els we need the more about your infection.
What is happening and names from the malware, toolbar???

Kind regards,
Tom

Hi Brenda and Tom, thanks for helping others in this community!

Hi jessmazzarino, have you tried running a Full Scan? Is there any malware detected?

From your description, the pop-ups you saw might also be a Suspected Technical Support Scam. If the pop-ups still show on your computer, please follow the instruction on this page to take some screenshots for us, so we can understand the exact situation and assist you better.
