Hello williem and welcome to the Community!

Thank you for letting us know about this question that you have in mind.

From the obfuscated site that you have provided which is "htoo://", is this a page that keeps on appearing on your web browser? Are you being redirected to that site every time you browse the internet? If yes, then you may follow the steps below.

Step 1: Check installed applications on your computer
  • Press the Windows button and letter R on your keyboard both at the same time to open the Run console.
  • Once the Run console is open, type: appwiz.cpl
  • Doing that will open a window that will list down all of the installed applications on your computer. Remove recently installed applications on your computer that you do not use or do not know about. You may also remove applications that has been installed some time ago that you do not use at all.

Step 2: Reset your web browser
Please click here for instructions.

Step 3. Check the affected browser's target
  • Right click on your web browser's shortcut icon that is on your desktop.
  • Select "Properties". Doing that will now open another window. Please select the "Shortcut" tab.
  • Check the field named "Target". This is what the target should look like:
    • "C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" - For Google Chrome
    • "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" - For Mozilla Firefox
    • "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\iexplore.exe" - For Internet Explorer
  • If there is something else other than the path given above, please delete it.
  • Click on OK.
I hope this helps! Should you have any other concern, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Enjoy the rest of the week!
